Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup and 1 tablespoon whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon applesauce
  • 1/2 cup and 1 tablespoon milk (or water)
  • 3/4 teaspoons baking powder
  • Pinch of salt

Whole Wheat Animal Pancakes

DIRECTIONS

1. Mix all ingredients together.
2. Heat frying pan and use canola oil cooking spray to cover pan.
3. Ladle batter onto pan.
4. Before serving, use cookie cutter to cut pancakes in animal shapes.
5. Serve with fresh berries.
