Keri Glassman, M.S., R.D., C.D.N., is the author of
The Snack Factor Diet and is president of Keri Glassman, A Nutritious Life, a
nutrition counseling and consulting practice, which focuses on weight
loss/maintenance, pediatric nutrition, lifestyle/wellness, pre/post natal
nutrition, cardiovascular health and sports performance. From new mothers to
working professionals to professional athletes and actors, Keri has a vast
knowledge base and experience with all types of clients. Keri advises and
educates clients on appropriate diet, with an emphasis on nutrient density and
food timing. Keri Glassman, A Nutritious Life, views diet as one component to a
whole and healthy life. Keri advises clients on total lifestyle including
getting adequate sleep, managing stress and fitting in exercise. Her approach is
a partnership with her clients, providing support and professional expertise to
help them achieve their goals. |

In 2006, Glassman launched KeriBar, a nutrition snack bar company. KeriBars are
real whole food bars that combine the ultimate proportion of nutrients to
provide satiety; fiber, protein and healthy fat (such as omega 3's) from nuts
and flaxseeds all of which help "anchor" a person's diet and help them make good
choices at their next meal. KeriBars are available nationwide and have also been
featured on QVC.
Keri is the nutrition director for Citibabes, a private club for moms and
families in SOHO, New York. In addition, she has formed a partnership with
renowned maternity fashion designer Liz Lange to better educate pregnant women
about pre and post-natal nutrition and the importance of healthy snacking. Keri
has contributed to and been widely quoted in top publications, websites and on
national television including: Marie Claire, Prevention, Allure, Self, Shape,
Harper's Baazar, Fitness, US Weekly, Men's Journal, WebMD, the Today Show, CBS
Early Show, MSNBC, Fox News Channel, and NY1. Keri is a contributing
editor/writer for Cookie, Golf for Women, Gannett publications' Your Health
Monthly and is on Kiwi Magazine's advisory board. She also serves as a
spokesperson for the Flax Council of Canada.
Keri is a member of the American Dietetic Association, Greater New York Dietetic
Association, American College of Sports Medicine, Sports, Cardiovascular and
Wellness Nutritionists, Nutrition Entrepreneurs, Weight Management Dietetics
Practice Group, the Women's Sports Foundation and the New York Road Runner's
Club.
Keri holds a Masters of Science degree in clinical nutrition from New York
University. An All-American lacrosse player while at Tufts University, Keri has
completed the New York City Marathon and is a tri-athlete. Keri resides in New
York City with her husband Brett and their children, Rex and Maizy. |
