Think snack bars are only eaten by ripping open the
wrapper and taking a bite? Guess again. Here’s how fans
of the KeriBar eat theirs!
My
favorite way to eat my KeriBar is for breakfast crumbled
or cut into small pieces and mixed into my yogurt.
For
a mid-morning pick-me-up, I have a KeriBar and a cup of
decaf coffee.
I crumble mine over plain my puffed rice cereal
in the A.M.,
kind of the way you’d do with granola…only healthier!
I
love eating a KeriBar as a late-afternoon snack with a
cup of herbal tea.
My favorite combination? An apple peanut-butter KeriBar
with apple cinnamon tea.
I
like to freeze my KeriBar—it gets chewier and lasts so
much longer when I eat it frozen
When
I have that ‘running on empty’ feeling, I have a KeriBar
on the bus on the way home from work—I keep one in my
bag for those times when hunger really kicks in
Sometimes
I’ll have a KeriBar plus a drinkable yogurt as an
on-the-go lunch.
It’s so easy to eat and very satisfying.
I
have a KeriBar as dessert. I make a parfait my putting a
crumbled KeriBar in a bowl,
I add some plain fat-free yogurt (maybe a half a cup)
and a handful of blueberries or other fresh fruit. It’s
delicious
I’ll spread a strawberry chocolate-chip KeriBar with a
tablespoon or so of peanut butter.
It makes a kind of
chewy PB& J – and it’s a great hunger-stopping snack
I
wouldn’t get into my car for a long drive without a
KeriBar – or two! I bring a little bag on nuts,
too, so that way I’m covered for chewy and crunchy
cravings.
